👋 Hi, I’m Christine—founder of the Global Self-Learning Academy. Meet the founder behind a lifelong passion for education, life skills, and personal growth.

My journey to founding Global Self-Learn Academy isn't just a career path—it's a calling. It stems from a deep belief, explored extensively in my book, Learning Outside The Classroom: Turing Life Experiences Into Personal Fulfilment and Successful Careers, that learning shouldn't be confined to classrooms or dictated by rigid curriculums. It's about empowering individuals to take ownership of their growth and design a future aligned with their passions.

🎓 A College Professor with a Holistic Background

For over 20 years, I stood at the front of college classrooms—teaching, guiding, and learning alongside students from all walks of life. I taught courses in Sociology, Leadership, Social Change and Entrepreneurship, and Communication, including Cultural Communication. My goal was always the same: to help students connect what they were learning to who they were becoming.

Before I found my dream role, I often found myself overqualified and underpaid—uncertain where my broad educational background and holistic approach would be welcomed. Becoming a college professor made sense, but even then, I had to navigate a system that didn’t always value human-centered, transformative education. That experience shaped me. It taught me resilience, humility, and the power of creating change from the inside out.

Eventually, I knew it was time for a new direction. I stepped away from the traditional academic world to build something more aligned with my deeper calling—a space where I could teach people how to make their learning personal, purposeful, and lifelong.

Dear Learner,
